“Storm season in Oklahoma can bring all types of destructive weather,” said News On 6 Executive Producer of Special Projects Mark Pinkerton. “The News On 6 weather team is here for viewers before, during and after severe storms hit.”

Presented by News On 6 and Green Phoenix Roofing & Remodeling, “Ahead of the Storm” will include some closer examining of the Father’s Day weekend storms, check in on the recovery and of course Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer will give us his spring forecast.

“The spring season in Oklahoma always brings a variety of weather to us, some of it good & some of it bad,” Meyer said. “Our spring severe weather special will help you understand severe weather information so you can make informed safe decisions for you & your family. Learning about how to deal with any weather fears or concerns is our top priority along with getting you the latest, most accurate information about severe weather that you can find.”
