Lauren Bateman thrives on running herself into the ground for what she's passionate about. Every creative begins their statement with a sentiment about how their devotion began when they were little. While Lauren is no different, she often focuses more on what happened after she realized she loved media. What matters to her is not only passion, but commitment. She has loyalty like no other to her pursuits. She takes pride in never quitting a single job, degree, or project. What counts to her most is earned skill. Although semi-green in the industry, Lauren still has nearly a decade under her belt in multimedia. Before, during, and after earning her BFA she was involved in graphic design, TV and audio production, and fine art. She has a few awards for her film and artwork, but mostly prizes the privilege to create for a living at all. Outside of radio, she spends her time on personal projects, weight lifting, and finding the next hiking destination for her and her dog Tino.
