Griffin Media and News 9 Announces “Reign of Terror” Special

Griffin Media and News 9 are proud to announce the latest Oklahoma’s Own Original “Reign of Terror” will air Oct. 16 from 7-8 p.m. “Reign of Terror” will focus on the true events that inspired the book, and now movie, Killers of the Flower Moon.

The special will examine how members of the Osage tribe became some of the richest people in the world and how that wealth led to a series of murders in the 1920s and 30s.

“This part of our state's history is tragic and complex. Everyone on our team understands the responsibility we have to tell this story accurately and completely,” News 9 Director of Content Nathan Elliott said.

“Reign Of Terror,” sponsored by Osage County Tourism, airs on News 9 on Monday, Oct. 16th from 7-8 p.m. Viewers will be able to stream the special on the News 9 app as well.
